Hey there! I’m B!
I created this blog because I am about to embark on a LONG fitness journey. I recently reached my heaviest weight ever and I have big plans to lose a lot of weight before my friend’s wedding in June.
I want to be transparent about my weight and my goals, which I think would be a bit intimidating to put out there for the world to see, so I’m going to keep myself anonymous… for now. I think it’s awesome when individuals are really open about their stories and I do want to be one of them eventually.
I am 5’11, 28 years old, and currently weigh 240 pounds as I start this journey. My ultimate goal is to lose 80 pounds and weigh 160 pounds which is what I weighed most of my early to mid-twenties and I feel it is a maintainable weight.
This blog is not going to be a dietary and nutritional guide for someone looking for real advice. Instead, I want to write about what it’s actually like to go through a huge upheaval like this. There are TONS of fitness bloggers out there that can offer great motivation but they have already reached their goals. My angle is more along the lines of what it feels like to be in the midst of the grind. The highs of success and the lows of trudging through to reach your goal.
I’ve said many times before “My diet starts Monday!” But I actually mean it this time! 🙂
